Cereals Market ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") explains in this Privacy Policy how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use our website, progressive web app, mobile app, desktop app, marketplace, quotations, messaging, notifications, payments, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

Information you provide: name, email address, phone number, country, account role, business details, agricultural or identity documents, product listings, messages, quotation requests, reports, reviews, ratings, orders, delivery details, payment references, M-Pesa transaction IDs, and support requests.
Information collected automatically: IP address, browser and operating system information, device identifiers, pages visited, features used, search queries, notification tokens, preferences, cookies, and similar technologies used to keep you signed in, protect the Platform, and understand usage.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to create and secure accounts; verify identity and business credentials; provide marketplace, messaging, quotation, order, logistics, payment, notification, and support services; detect and prevent fraud, scams, abuse, and security incidents; improve the Platform; send permitted service or promotional communications; and comply with legal obligations, including tax, regulatory, and anti-money-laundering requirements.
3. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We may share information with service providers that support authentication, hosting and database services including Supabase, payment processing including Safaricom M-Pesa, notifications, logistics, and analytics. Limited profile, business, listing, location, rating, review, and order information may be shown to other users when needed to facilitate a requested trade or communication. We may disclose information to legal authorities when required by law or to protect users and the Company.
4. Retention and Security
We retain account, listing, communication, and transaction information for as long as needed to provide services, protect users, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, accounting, and security obligations. When an account deletion request is made, we delete or anonymize eligible information within a reasonable period, except information that must be retained by law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We use encryption in transit and at rest, secure infrastructure, and access controls, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
